This breakfast feast is served family style, on a large platter. Breakfast participants can take what they like from the tray of assorted breakfast items and vegetables. I like to think of this as a breakfast-themed charcuterie board, with a number of types of breads, meats, cheeses, and vegetables, served with an assortment of sweet and savory spreads.
The following recipe is meant to serve 6-8 people, although it can be made to serve whatever party size you like.

Toast, Eggs, Fresh Vegetables, and Assorted Meats & Cheeses
Ingredients
- 6 slices bacon, (cooked to golden-brown and drained on paper towels)
- 4 4 whole eggs, (hard-boiled, peeled, and cut in half)
- 2 radishes, (sliced finely)
- ½ cucumber, (cut into ¼” slices and lightly salted)
- ¾ cup cherry tomatoes, (cut in half and lightly salted)
- 3 cloves raw garlic, (peeled and kept whole, for rubbing on toast)
- 3 slices of cooked ham, (cut into bite-sized pieces)
- 8 slices of salami, (cut into bite-sized pieces)
- 4 slices liverwurst, (cut into bite-sized pieces)
- 3 Tbsp gouda cheese, (cut into bite-sized pieces)
- 3 Tbsp cheddar cheese, (cut into bite-sized pieces)
- 3 Tbsp Brie cheese, (cut into bite-sized pieces)
- 3 Tbsp goat cheese, (cut into bite-sized pieces)
- 4 Tbsp salted butter, (softened, for serving)
- 3 Tbsp fresh parsley, (roughly chopped, for serving)
- 3 Tbsp whole-grain mustard, (for serving)
- 3 Tbsp Dijon mustard, (for serving)
- ¼ cup jam or jelly of choice, (for serving)
- 20 pieces of toasted bread of choice, (a mix of breads is fun here)
Instructions
- Prepare all of your breakfast items and arrange them on a giant serving platter, or on a series of smaller serving platters.
- When all of the items are ready and nicely arranged, toast your bread and finish preparing the breakfast platter.
- Serve all items family-style, while the toast is still warm.
