I don’t eat breakfast every day, but once in a while I’ll treat myself to a sweetened
bowl of yogurt, granola, fruit, and nuts. I add a good bit of maple syrup on top,
just because I love maple syrup. The mixture of the Greek yogurt and whole milk
creates a thinner yogurt consistency that goes well with the fruits, granola, and
almonds.
The following recipe makes one large breakfast bowl.
Yogurt and Granola Bowl with Blueberries and Bananas
Ingredients
- ¾ cup natural Greek yogurt
- ¼ cup whole milk
- ½ cup granola
- ½ banana (cut into slices)
- ¼ cup blueberries
- ¼ cup almonds
- 1 Tbsp pure maple syrup
- A tiny sprinkle of cinnamon
Instructions
- In a large breakfast bowl or small serving bowl, add the Greek yogurt and the
- whole milk.
- Stir to combine.
- Add the prepared granola, sliced banana, blueberries, and almonds.
- Drizzle some maple syrup on top, along with a sprinkle of cinnamon, if desired.
- Serve cold.
Notes
alternative to maple syrup, try this recipe out with honey, brown sugar, agave syrup, or sorghum.
