While the ingredients are incredibly simple, the lime juice effectively curdles the Irish Cream in your mouth, creating a unique, “cement-like” curdled texture.
I never really understood why this shot was so popular. Unintuitively, I think part of the appeal is that the curdled texture is so unappealing to most people.

Ingredients
- 1.5 oz Irish Cream (like Baileys)
- ½ oz freshly-squeezed lime juice
Instructions
- Pour the Irish Cream into a shooter glass.
- Add the lime juice.
- Serve, and encourage whoever is drinking it to swirl the mixture around in their mouth before swallowing.
