Kalimotxo - Red Wine and Coca-Cola

This unique cocktail hails from Algorta, Spain, and is actually quite tasty if you start with an inexpensive bottle of red wine and proceed to keep an open mind…

Ingredients

  • 3 oz red wine (chilled)
  • 2 oz Coca-Cola (chilled)
  • 1 small slice of orange
  • 1 dash of Angostura bitters (if desired)

Instructions 

  • Pour the red wine and Coca-Cola into a wine glass with ice.
  • Add a dash of Angostura bitters, if desired, and stir gently.
  • Garnish with a slice of fresh orange.
