
Macaroons
Ingredients
- 4 cups almond slivers
- 1 and 1/3 cups sugar
- 8 egg whites
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 Tbsp. butter
Instructions
- Grind almonds with sugar in blender.
- Beat egg whites with vanilla and then gradually add to almonds/sugar mixture.
- Rub butter on two baking sheets.
- Spoon 1 Tbsp of batter onto baking sheet for each cookie.
- Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
