
Peppermint Brownies
Ingredients
- 2 squares unsweetened chocolate
- 1/3 cup butter
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp. peppermint extract
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Instructions
- Melt chocolate and butter in a saucepan and slowly add sugar stirring constantly until blended
- Add beaten eggs and stir in peppermint extract
- Remove from heat and add flour, nuts and salt
- Pour into a greased and floured 10 square cake pan and cook at 350 degrees for 25 - 30 minutes
