Blackberry, Mango, and Peach Fruit Salad with Mint, Honey, and Walnuts
I have been enjoying more fruit salads for breakfast lately, especially during thesummer months when the weather turns hot and sweaty.For this simple fruit salad, fresh blackberries are combined with sliced peaches andmangoes, along with some finely-sliced fresh mint, toasted walnuts, and a drizzleof honey!The following recipe provides 2-3 servings.
Ingredients
20blackberries(washed and drained)
2peaches(pit removed and flesh cut into bite-sized pieces)
1mango(pit removed and flesh cut into bite-sized pieces)
3fresh mint leaves(finely-sliced)
ΒΌcupwalnuts(lightly toasted, as garnish)
1Tbsphoney(as garnish)
Instructions
Toss the blackberries, peaches, and mangoes together in a medium-sized mixing bowl with the finely-sliced mint.
Divide the fruit and mint into serving bowls.
Top each bowl with some lightly-toasted walnuts and a drizzle of honey.
Notes
You can use any fresh fruits and/or nuts you like here. Add a scoop of yogurt and some granola to make your own breakfast parfait bowl!
