Summer Whiskey Ginger
This whiskey ginger cocktail includes freshly-pressed ginger juice and crystallized ginger.
Ingredients

oz
peeled fresh ginger root
8
oz
whiskey or bourbon of choice
(chilled)
16
oz
ginger ale
(chilled)
Juice of ¼ lime
Ice
(as needed)
Crystallized ginger pieces
(as garnish)
Instructions
Cut ginger into ½” sections and put through a juicer.
Reserve ginger juice in the fridge to chill and discard ginger pulp.
Place ice in four rocks glasses.
In each glass, pour 2oz whiskey, 4oz ginger ale, a squeeze of lime, and a splash of freshly-pressed ginger juice.
Serve ice cold, with a piece of crystallized ginger as garnish.
