Baby Greens and Pears

Ingredients

  • One quarter cup extra virgin olive oil
  • One quarter cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • One half cup fresh basil ( chopped)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 cups baby greens
  • 3 Bartlett pears ( cores and thinly sliced)
  • 1 avocado peeled and diced

Instructions 

  • Combine olive oil, lemon juice, sugar, basil and salt and pepper together in a cruet and shake well
  • Place baby greens, pears and avocado together in a large bowl
  • Just before serving, add dressing and toss
