Angel Food Berry Cupcakes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup each of blueberries, strawberries and raspberries
  • Two thirds cup sugar
  • 1 tsp almond extract
  • 1 1-pound package angel food cake mix
  • Frozen whipped topping

Instructions 

  • Toss berries in a bowl with sugar and almond extract
  • Bake angel food cake according to package instructions for cupcakes
  • Remove cupcakes from oven and allow them to cool
  • Slice each one in half and top with one quarter cup berry mixture followed by whipped topping
