The Great Escape

This cocktail includes Laphroaig 10-Year Aged Scotch, in addition to brandy, dark rum, and Cointreau.
The following recipe makes 1 cocktail.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz Laphroaig 10-Year Aged Scotch
  • ½ oz Brandy
  • ½ oz Dark Rum
  • 1 oz Cointreau
  • 1 oz simple syrup
  • 1 dash of Orange Bitters

Instructions 

  • Combine cocktail ingredients in a shaker with ice, and shake for 5-10 seconds.
  • Strain mixture out into a chilled rocks glass with ice.

Notes

While Scotch cocktails can be overpowering for some, they are really fun to experiment with.
