
Spinach and Onion Dip
Ingredients
- One quarter cup olive oil
- 1 large onion (chopped)
- One quarter cup shallots (chopped)
- One half pound baby spinach (chopped)
- 1 8 -oz. package cream cheese (softened)
- 1 and one half cups sour cream
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet and saute onion and shallots, add spinach and cook for several minutes.
- Place Spinach mixture in a glass bowl and stir in cream cheese, sour cream, garlic, and salt and pepper.
- Chill and serve with fresh vegetables, crackers, and/ or bread pieces.
