This tasty apple sangria can be prepared in a pitcher in advance.
Apple Cider Sangria
Ingredients
- 2 Honeycrisp apples (cored & cut into bite-sized chunks)
- 1 pear (cored & cut into bite-sized chunks)
- 1 750ml bottle dry white wine
- ½ cup calvados (or apple vermouth)
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1 stick of cinnamon
- 3 cloves
- 4 Tbsp white granulated sugar
- 1 750ml bottle sparkling apple cider
Instructions
- Combine cubed apples and pears with the white wine, calvados, lime juice, cinnamon stick, cloves, and sugar.
- Stir to combine and allow to sit in the fridge overnight.
- When ready to serve, pour into glasses with the fruit and finish with the sparkling cider.
- Stir gently and serve cold.
