Calvados Cocktail

This simple cocktail includes Calvados, Angostura bitters, a small splash of Maraschino cherry juice, and some freshly-squeezed lemon juice.
The following recipe makes 1 cocktail.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Calvados
  • Juice from ¼ of a lemon
  • ½ oz Maraschino cherry juice
  • 3 dashes of Angostura bitters
  • 1 Maraschino cherry, (as garnish)

Instructions 

  • Combine cocktail ingredients in a chilled rocks glass with ice, and stir.
  • Garnish with a Maraschino cherry, and enjoy.

Notes

If the sweet preserved cherries aren’t your thing, try using some simple syrup instead of the cherry juice and increase the quantity of freshly-squeezed lemon juice.
