This whiskey ginger cocktail includes freshly-pressed ginger juice and crystallized ginger.

Summer Whiskey Ginger
Ingredients
- 3 oz peeled fresh ginger root
 - 8 oz whiskey or bourbon of choice (chilled)
 - 16 oz ginger ale (chilled)
 - Juice of ¼ lime
 - Ice (as needed)
 - Crystallized ginger pieces (as garnish)
 
Instructions
- Cut ginger into ½” sections and put through a juicer.
 - Reserve ginger juice in the fridge to chill and discard ginger pulp.
 - Place ice in four rocks glasses.
 - In each glass, pour 2oz whiskey, 4oz ginger ale, a squeeze of lime, and a splash of freshly-pressed ginger juice.
 - Serve ice cold, with a piece of crystallized ginger as garnish.
