Apple Cobbler

Ingredients

  • 6 cups apples, peeled, cored and sliced
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp. butter

Topping:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice

Instructions 

  • Combine apples, 1-cup sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon and 2 Tbsp.
  • butter in a saucepan and cook over medium heat until apples are crisp-tender.
  • Place apples in a lightly greased 8 x 8-inch baking dish.
  • Combine topping ingredients until crumb mixture forms.
  • Sprinkle over apples and bake at 350 for about 20 minutes.
  • Serve with ice cream or frozen yogurt.
