Set your oven to 350F
Spray the bottom of a 9x9 pan or use parchment paper to line it
Whisk the dry ingredients together
Carefully melt the chocolate in the microwave or on the stove
Place the butter and sugar into the mixer, watching for it to become fluffy
Add the egg, vanilla, and banana, make sure everything is evenly dispersed
Incorporate the chocolate thoroughly
Blend in the nuts and chips by hand
Stir with a spatula to mix in the flour (you don’t want to see any signs of it, but don’t over-stir)
Pour into pan, then top with banana slices
Bake for 40 minutes. THe top should be crakly and the inside puffy
Tap it on the counter. If it deflates a little and it feels soft underneath it’s ready to cool for an hour
Sprinkle the banana slices with ½ tsp sugar. Melt the sugar using a kitchen torch. Instant brulee!
