Peppermint Brownies

Ingredients

  • 2 squares unsweetened chocolate
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. peppermint extract
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

Instructions 

  • Melt chocolate and butter in a saucepan and slowly add sugar stirring constantly until blended
  • Add beaten eggs and stir in peppermint extract
  • Remove from heat and add flour, nuts and salt
  • Pour into a greased and floured 10 square cake pan and cook at 350 degrees for 25 - 30 minutes
