Ingredients
8ozchive or garlic-flavored cream cheese
24-32pitted dates**
1lbbacon(regular cut)
Maple syrup(real)
** Depending on how generously you fill the dates(the general ratio is 1 ounce of cream cheese per 3 to 4 dates.)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375F.
Stuff each date with the cream cheese. A piping bag is a fantastic helpmate for this step.
Wrap each date with a half-slice of bacon and secure it with a toothpick.
Place the bacon-wrapped dates on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Use a pastry brush to apply maple syrup to each.
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the bacon is crispy, turning the dates over halfway through.
