This recipe includes some scotch whiskey, in addition to some simple syrup, Angostura bitters, lime juice, ginger ale, and Scotch Bonnet pepper.
- 2 oz scotch whiskey of choice
- ½ oz simple syrup
- 2 dashes of Angostura bitters
- Juice of ½ lime
- ¼ fresh Scotch Bonnet pepper
- 2 oz ginger ale
Combine the scotch whiskey, simple syrup, Angostura bitters, lime juice, and Scotch Bonnet pepper in a shaker tin with ice.
Shake hard for fifteen seconds, and then strain into a chilled rocks glass with ice.
Top with ginger ale.
