Lettuce, Tomato, and Onion Salad with Burrata Cheese and Fresh Herbs
Ingredients
- 4 cups romaine lettuce (cut into bite-sized pieces)
- 4 Roma tomatoes (large dice)
- ¼ red onion (sliced finely)
- 2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- A small pinch of Kosher salt
- A few grinds of fresh black pepper
- 4 balls of burrata cheese
- 10 mint leaves (finely sliced)
- 6 basil leaves (finely sliced)
- 12 chives (finely sliced)
Instructions
- Cut the romaine lettuce, and wash and dry the leaves.
- In a large salad mixing bowl, combine the lettuce leaves, diced tomatoes, sliced red onion, balsamic vinegar, and olive oil.
- Add Kosher salt and a few grinds of pepper, and mix the vegetables together well.
- Divide the contents into salad bowls, and top each bowl with a burrata cheese ball.
- Sprinkle the sliced herbs over the salads, and enjoy.
