
Apple Cobbler
Ingredients
- 6 cups apples, peeled, cored and sliced
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 2 Tbsp. butter
Topping:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Combine apples, 1-cup sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon and 2 Tbsp.
- butter in a saucepan and cook over medium heat until apples are crisp-tender.
- Place apples in a lightly greased 8 x 8-inch baking dish.
- Combine topping ingredients until crumb mixture forms.
- Sprinkle over apples and bake at 350 for about 20 minutes.
- Serve with ice cream or frozen yogurt.
