This cocktail mixes the industry classic Fernet with some Rye Whiskey and Cointreau, along with Angostura bitters and simple syrup.
This following recipe is for 2-3 large drinks.
Fernet Fury
Ingredients
- 2 oz Fernet Branca
- 1 oz Rye Whiskey
- ½ oz Cointreau
- 3 dashes of Angostura bitters
- Juice from ½ lime
- ½ oz simple syrup
- A wheel of orange (as garnish)
Instructions
- Combine the ingredients above in a shaker tin with ice.
- Shake for 15 seconds, or until the ingredients are completely chilled.
- Strain into a chilled martini class.
- Place the wheel of orange in the cocktail, and serve.
