Garlic Butter Shrimp Tacos
Fast, colorful tacos with juicy shrimp, creamy avocado, and a bright lime finish.
Ingredients
- 1 pound peeled (deveined shrimp)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon ground cumin
- Salt and black pepper
- 8 small flour or corn tortillas
- 2 cups shredded cabbage
- 1 avocado (sliced)
- ¼ cup sour cream
- 1 lime (divided)
- Chopped cilantro
Instructions
- Pat shrimp dry and season with paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and cook until pink and lightly browned. Add garlic during the final minute and toss until fragrant.
- Warm tortillas in a dry pan or microwave. Stir sour cream with the juice of half a lime.
- Fill each tortilla with cabbage, shrimp, avocado, lime cream, and cilantro. Serve with remaining lime wedges.
