Puff Pastry Triangles Stuffed with Feta, Olives, Dates, and Cream Cheese
The cheesy snacks are great to serve before dinner when hosting a crowd.
Ingredients
16ozcream cheese, softened
12ozfeta cheese, crumbled
¼cupheavy cream
1 stalk celery, finely chopped
1cuppitted black, chopped
¾cupspitted dates, chopped
¼cupfresh chives, finely sliced
1packagefrozen puff pastry sheets
2whole eggs(for egg wash)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375F.
Remove puff pastry sheets from freezer.
When the sheets are soft enough to separate and work with, cut each sheet into long strips that are roughly 3” wide.
Combine the softened cream cheese, feta cheese, heavy cream, celery, olives, dates, and chives until the mix is combined thoroughly.
Place roughly 2 tbsp of filling on the end of a puff pastry strip.
Roll the end of the strip containing the filling in a way that folds the bottom edge towards the side of the strip.
This is the beginning of your triangle.
Continue to roll while maintaining the triangular shape.
When you have reached the end of the strip, place a small amount of filling on the outside of the triangle to seal the end of the strip to the triangle.
Brush the outside of the top of each triangle with a very light coating of the whisked eggs.
Place the wrapped triangles onto a piece of parchment on a sheet tray.
Bake in the oven at 375F for 20 minutes, or until the triangles are golden brown.
Allow to cool slightly and serve while hot.
Notes
You can make the triangles a day in advance and store them in your refrigerator.
