A basic cashew sauce comprises nuts, garlic, and salt. That’s it! Is your mind already rolling with ideas? You could add many ingredients so the sauce pairs better with your recipe. Potential additions include:

Cashew Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 c. plain cashews
- 1 ¼ c broth **
- 2 cloves fresh garlic
- 1 tsp fine sea salt
- ** Chicken if using it on chicken (beef with beef, and vegetable stock with vegetables. Otherwise, use water)
Instructions
- oak the cashews in water. Make sure they are all covered.
- Leave for 2 hours (Only 2 hours, or they get mushy)
- Rinse
- Transfer the nuts into a blender with the remaining ingredients.
- Puree to the consistency you prefer
- Refrigerator shelf life 4 days.
